Rigner was originaly purtchast by Solaris as an engenier's asiatant because of sevier labor shortage the corp had.
He work for them until his contract expired and was rehirerd with a promotion and sigificant salery encrise.
He serverd on the Norek for little over two years , made some frends 'and a girlfrend" and somthing of a home for himself.
Well you all know what hapend next , all the events that ended up getting his girlfrend Lisk killed.
The death of Lisk deepely affected Rigner and it took him a long time befor he "got over" his loss.
Rigner is the Gull's second officer and cheef engenier , he is in charge of not only keeping the ship running but maneging the rather large engeniring team.
Overall he knows the ship better than anyome.
Rigner has an open command stile , using encouragement more than disipline to motevate his team , it works "most of the time", sometimes however he needs help inforsing his autoraty.
Rigner has a frendly cheerfull disposition , entousiastic about evrything, he has been lonly for a time , not realy feeling strong enuff to try for a new relationship , the ones that he did try for ended badly for him until Surshot took a chance and gave him a little comfort, they took it slow going trew the anchent ritual of "dating" , ther love has been growing ever since.
Rigner is a gifted engenier , a true generalist , he is capable of seeing the "big pictur" when it comes to fixing somthing.
Rigner loves playing sportes , it dosent mather what he just loves to play and is verry actve.
